New Museum - Bon 41

At last the unveiling of the hotly anticipated New Museum of Contemporary Art will take place in New York on the 1st December 2007 with 30 hours free admission in celebration of the institutions 30th Anniversary. Taking up residence at 235 Bowery, the seven storey, 60,0000 square feet of higgledy-piggledy glimmering stacked-boxes construction was designed by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa. Expect the delights of international artists such as Urs Fisher, Eva Rothchild, and John Bock in the inaugural exhibition, Unmonumental as well as a large-scale outdoor sculpture from Ugo Rondinone.
