The art pilgrimage train arrived in London last week with droves of international curators, collectors and the good ole general public gathering in anticipation for the opening of Frieze Art Fair. And Frieze certainly didn’t fail to disappoint, for the last seven years, directors Matthew Slotover and Amanda Sharp have been expanding Frieze's potential of to its limits, and this year was no exception with 53 new galleries, over 1,000 artists showcased, seven commissioned site-specific Frieze Projects, an extensive talks program, the launch of FRAME (a new section of younger galleries) and the £10,000 Frieze Art Fair Stand Prize. Here, Matthew Slotover along with some participating galleries and artists at the fair tell us why we just can’t get enough of Frieze!
